Welcome to Food Exploring Speech, PLLC. I help children build confident communication and positive relationships with food through evidence-based, child-led therapy.
I specialize in working with children ages 6+ months who experience feeding challenges, picky eating, sensory differences, and speech language delays. My approach is play-based, pressure-free, and rooted in respect for each child’s nervous system and developmental readiness. I believe progress happens best when children feel safe, supported, and in control.
As someone who grew up stuttering and intermittently stutters today, it’s my passion to promote effective communication. I’m also advocating and supporting my 8 year old son who began stuttering around 2.5 years old.
I received my masters degree from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY. I’m a New York State licensed SLP, I am PROMPT trained and a Feed The Peds® clinician. I have 10+ years of experience in pediatric feeding.
I was drawn to this work after seeing how misunderstood feeding and communication challenges can be and how transformative the right support can be for a family. Families are an essential part of the therapy process. I work closely with caregivers to provide education, strategies, and realistic support that fits into everyday life.
If you’re wondering whether feeding or speech language therapy is right for your child, I’d love to connect.
